Love the quote - but then, love Goya.

Most of his stuff is a little on the depressing edge, but that's what you get for growing up with Franco's Spain... If you get the chance, his images of the atrocities are incredible.

But on to happy thoughts, good to see you're still on the blogging trail :-)

You guys need to see Pan's Labyrinth if you haven't already--it mixes some incredible depictions of Franco's Spain with fantastical, very 'fractured' fairytale elements. Gorgeous but NOT for kids! (Becky H)
